Being silly

Omar and I went to see Avatar in 3D (hence the glasses)the other day since it was still in theatres. We were the only ones there and had fun shooting silly photos. I thought the pics looked like booth pictures.

Elena's first haircut

I've been trimming Elena's hair all her life and finally decided it was time for her to have a real haircut. She loved the experience.


I can't believe how much I wanted cut off. I love the new look though and it is so much more manageble.

Music city

I love that we can find live music playing just about anywhere on any given evening in this city. I especially love it when the live music is paired up with a kid friendly atmosphere too. This locale had a little playground for the kids and then the music of course. It made for relaxing and modified dinner date night for Omar and I. And that's always nice.

Lowe's

Ever done this?. It's a great free kid's building workshop offered at Lowe's. The girls loved it and were so proud after completing their school buses.


After a while of hard work Marisa preferred to have some cookies.
