Niagra Falls

The girls have been keeping me quite busy these days and so I am just now blogging about our vacation. Omar had a poultry conference in Niagra Falls, Ontario. Believe it or not hundreds of Doctors gather at this convention and talk about all things poultry. Marisa and I decided to join him on the trip and had a great time. Elena stayed home with her Grandma F and enjoyed her company greatly. I missed Elena dearly and everytime I saw something I would think, "Oh Elena would have loved to see that!" But don't worry if your feeling sorry for her missing out. She also made it to this Canadian conference 2 years ago and Marisa was no where in sight. (you can see those pictures below)

I love this holiday because I love being an American, and I am reminded of how thankful I am to live in this country. My friend Carie invited us over for an American celebration complete with grilling, fun in the sun, and fireworks afterwards. At the local fireworks show I was reminded that I've spent the last 3 years celebrating the 4th of July with my friend Carie. It is always a great time, and I will be sad to miss it in the coming years.
