We are blessed to welcome our beautiful baby girl. Karina Alejandra Gutierrez was born on December 25th 2010 at 2:37am. She weighed in at 7 lbs 9 oz. and measured 19.5 inches long. We hope to post more pictures soon.
She is precious, Josie. I love that you get a home visit from your midwife! Isn't that the greatest? Someday, if you get a minute (ha!), I'd love to hear about your labor and why you had to have an emergency c-section.
I love Karina in that last one, she looks like Elena! And that fuzzy hair! So precious! I am so glad your recovery is going smoothly....rest, rest, rest and let everything else go. It's so much harder keeping up with the house and two other ones for me this time...I'm really learning how to "let go" of my perfectionism and just ENJOY this phase. I can not wait to see you all (one day soon I hope).
I think its amazing that you state tha you wish the newborn phase lasted a little longer. There have been many phases of Hannah's that I'd love to freeze, but the exhaustion and overwhelming part of newborns is not one of them! I'm glad you are enjoying it though and recovering well. She's beautiful! Its a wonderful little family that God has given you and Omar. Enjoy this season!
P.S. Can you do a blog on why you had to have a c-section?
